I’m married to a wonderful woman named Deb. We’re the parents of a son and daughter who bring great joy to our lives. I currently pastor the Assembly of God church in Afton, Iowa.      

My goal for this blog is to inspire you to draw closer to God. Each post is a biographical sketch of a Christian leader of the past. All of the men and women of faith encountered God in a way that changed their lives and helped them help others. If you’re a Christian leader, a follower of Jesus wanting to follow Him more closely, or someone interested in learning more about Christianity, this  blog is for you.
